After enduring their largest blowout loss in four months in the Western Conference finals opener, the Phoenix Suns don't have to begin Game 2 way behind the guys in the yellow jerseys.

The NBA Game 2 is set on fire! After a winning moment of Lakers in the game one the Suns is on in the test of their gaming strategy. Knowing the Suns was an unexpected team to reach the conference final but now they are tested by their opposing team by defeating them in the NBA Game 1 Conference Final.

Now this Game two of NBA Western Series, would it be the 2nd opportunity for the Lakers to take a 2-0 lead or would it be an effective adjustment gaming strategy for the Suns to poses their first win and take the game on tie by 1-1 standing?

The Suns forward, who promised physical play against the Lakers' bulky frontcourt before the series, was unimpressed by Lamar Odom, who had 19 points and 19 rebounds off the Lakers' bench in the opener.

Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers Live Odds – NBA Preview

Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers Live Basketball Odds: The NBA Game 1 match between Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers will kick off on May 17, 2010 at 9:00 PM ET. This match will takes place at STAPLES Center, Los Angeles, CA.

Kobe Bryant has barely touched a basketball in a week, giving his gimpy ankle and arthritic finger time to heal. That purplish, jagged gouge over Steve Nash's right eye also should be one week less ghastly by tipoff time in the Western Conference finals.

Although both stars play a beautiful game, Bryant and Nash realize postseason basketball is rarely pretty, and they wouldn't expect to escape the postseason without a few ugly souvenirs of the playoff grind.

It’s all about Kobe now. A Kobe-like series probably turns out the lights on the Suns’ nice playoff run, but if Kobe isn’t Kobe, Phoenix actually has a fighting chance despite the long odds. The Western Conference finals are starting, and the Black Mamba is in the house.

The Lakers rarely show up lame in the first games of playoff series, but 6.5 is a heavy number to cover against a team as deep and rested as the Suns are. If LA can succeed in slowing down the pace and making the Suns match up against the front line (Gasol, Odom, Bynum), then they should be able to take care of business.
