Cincinnati's latest trip to Pittsburgh has gone much better than its first of 2010.

The Reds try to complete a sweep of the Pirates and match a season high with a fifth straight victory Wednesday afternoon.

After suffering a three-game sweep at Pittsburgh from April 16-18, Cincinnati (18-15) has outscored the Pirates 11-1 to win the first two of this three-game set at PNC Park.

The Reds, who have won four in a row overall and 11 of 15, swept Pittsburgh twice in 2009, once at each team's home park.

Chris Heisey collected his first three major league hits, including his first home run, while Jay Bruce also had three hits and drove in three runs for the Reds, who won a season-high five in a row from April 25-30.

The victory was also Cincinnati's 12th in its last 16 games versus Pittsburgh, which swept the Reds at home from April 16-18. Cincy will try to avenge that series this afternoon with its first sweep of the Buccos since Sept. 22-24 of last year in the Steel City.
