Down 1-0 in their NBA playoff conference semifinal vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, the Utah Jazz could get an injection with the return of forward Andrei Kirilenko.
The Jazz are 6-point road ‘dogs for Game 2 and the Total is set at 199.
Kirilenko first suffered a left calf injury on Mar. 12 and re-aggravated it in mid-April — he was able to take part in his first full practice on Monday according to the Associated Press.
The player known as AK-47 is said to have a 50/50 chance of playing in tonight’s game and even if he doesn’t play, he would probably be ready for Game 3 back in Utah the AP went on to say.
The Jazz are already missing center Mehmet Okur.
The last 14 games at the STAPLES Center have been a struggle for the Jazz, as they are 0-14 straight up and 4-10 against the spread — there have been 10 Overs and 4 Unders at the same time.
In “Exact Series Results” betting, the Jazz are listed at +5000 to comeback and win their Western Conference semifinal 4 games to 1.
The Utah Jazz were defeated 104-99 by the Lakers in Game 1 — they were 7-point underdogs for that game.
