Djokovic defeated nadal in the Clay Court for the first time out of ten tries. This is Djokovic’s third straight victory over Nadal in finals this season. Djokovic’s sixth title of 2011 allowed him to go by Bjorn Borg’s 31-match season-opening run in 1980. He trails only John McEnroe’s 42-0 start in 1984.

Nadal did not looked in that sort of confidence which he displayed against Roger Federer last nite, and struggled to match Djokovic intensity in the match.
