Brett Favre to Stay After Retirement in Football

Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre says that he has no aim of coming out of retirement.

Favre said he was "finished with football" when asked Wednesday if he could try another return. Favre, a spokesman for Wrangler jeans, met with employees of a Wrangler plant that was destroyed by tornadoes that ravaged the region recently.

Favre signed autographs for members of the football team Hackleburg High School employees and Wrangler.

Favre, whose last played in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, could not escape talking about football. When he exited his vehicle, was received by President of the Marion County Commission Don Barnwell, who asked him if he wanted to play football this year.

As a lockout of the NFL, Favre said he does not know if there is no football this year.
