Stars Flourish at European Poker Tour Grand Final Day 2

Poker Betting: A host of stars NHL legend and Team PokerStars SportStar Mats Sundin and PokerStars-sponsored British football icon Teddy Sheringham are through to Day 2 of the European Poker Tour Grand Final on tuesday.

From 51 different countries 848 players are entered in to EPt Grand final including 161 who won their seats to €10,600 Main Event on PokerStars. Total Prize of pool is €8,480,000 and a first prize of €1,700,000.

The overall chip leader is PokerStars player Thiago Nishijima from Brazil with 264,200 and PokerStars qualifier Paul Berende from Holland is in second place with 195,500 who is in 17th position at San Remo last week.

French tennis champion Gael Monfils, the French rap star Bruno “Kool Shen” Lopes, British footballer Teddy Sheringham and German best-selling author Charlotte Roche as well as Petter Northug, the Norwegian Olympic cross-country skier were there among the other 413 survivors.

More than 20 members of Team PokerStars Pro got through Day 1 including Johannes Steindl (141,300), Joe Cada (123,600), Alex Gomes (122,800), Chris Moneymaker (119,900), Vicky Coren (114,000).
