Nicolas Almagro faced Fernando Verdasco three times in the past and has never beaten Verdasco in three attempts including third round in last year French Open. He didn’t manage to own single set against Fernando.
When playing against left handed players he struggles more due to his tendency to over-use his one-handed backhand, which is a powerful weapon against right-handers.
