Phoenix Suns vs San Antonio Spurs NBA Series Live Odds & Picks

Phoenix Suns vs. San Antonio Spurs Live Odds & Picks @ Sportsbook.

The Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs will open their best of 7 series in the second round of NBA playoffs on Monday night. That means that there is still plenty of the time to get your pick in for who you think will be left standing and moving on to the Western Conference finals.

Phoenix are the home team in the series and in the NBA that counts for a lot.

The Phoenix Suns have the most potent offense in the NBA and their run and gun tempo should wear away on the Spurs. A best of 7 series is not like a regular season game where you play different teams and have different paces on a nightly basis. The Spurs aren't just going to have to keep up with Phoenix for one night and then have a chance to recuperate against someone like Golden State or Los Angeles (the Clippers): the aging veterans are going to have to keep up with Phoenix game after game until this series is resolved and that will take its toll.

The Spurs supported their backers by taking out 2nd seeded Dallas, however the Mavericks were not a strong home team this year - not for a 2 seed anyways. Phoenix on the other hand went 32-9 this season on their home court and San Antonio will have a tougher time taking a win out of Arizona and back to Texas.

While Phoenix have a big three in Amar'e Stoudemire, Steve Nash, and Grant Hill the player to watch on the Suns is Jason Richardson. Richardson was a highlight reel in the first round as he went off for 23.5 points per game in the series and his rebounding of nearly 7 boards per game made a difference as well. His increased production makes the Suns the team to back in this series as their star players have the deeper support they need to make it to the Western Conference finals.
