NBA Playoffs: Knicks Eying Their Own Big Three?

Maybe this Big Three thing is going to become a fad. NBA betting fans have been taken on a roller coaster ride throughout the historic 2010 NBA free agent period and just days after LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh united in Miami to form a powerhouse, there could be another one in the works.

If you’re a betting many, at this point you’d probably start to put some weight into it.

This past week, Carmelo Anthony got married and it just so happened that superstar point guard Chris Paul and newly signed New York Knick Amar’e Stoudemire were there to attend. Their plan? To unite in New York in the coming years – allegedly.

When you do the math, it is quite possible. Anthony is a pending free agent after this year and while the Denver Nuggets will do everything possible to re-sign him, there is the chance that he walks to become an even bigger star in New York. Especially with James, Wade and Bosh – more specifically the first two – concentrating on South Beach, Anthony could become the games most marketable superstar in New York, which would be very enticing to him. He also played at Syracuse, which is near by.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Hornets have already been rumored to be listening to Paul trade requests. As ludicrous as it sounds, they might start to believe that the parts are worth the sum if they don’t improve in the next year or so, and they take the package.

So how would a Knicks squad of Stoudemire, Paul and Anthony compare to Wade, James and Bosh? Basketball betting fans can only hope it happens as it would make for some pretty exciting Eastern Conference playoff series.
