Virat Kohli Penalized in 6th ODI Tri-Series

The Indian cricket player, Virat Kohli was fined for disagreeing the Umpire’s decision after being declared him as “Out”. This happened at the 6th ODI Tri-series at Dambulla.

When Umpire has declared out in the 6th over, Kohli stood in the ground until the New Zealand players started celebrating his dismissal and break for the game. Kohli has accepted his mistake and realized that he committed mistake. Kohli was fined 15% of the match fee by the ICC board team.

The match referee, Alan Hurst stated that, "Accepting umpires` decisions is part and parcel of playing cricket and on this occasion Virat clearly showed dissent when he had been given out."
